One night Jong-pil Jo is assassinated in the bathroom of a fast food.
On the scene are some Korean students with American citizenship and two of them are placed inside the bathroom since the first police investigations.
The task of the Park Attorney will be to determine who has actually committed the crime.

Based on a story that really happened The Case of Itaewon Homicide is sufficiently faithful to the facts of which it attempts to decode, while in the course of the rendering it leaves the leaked suspicion far from veiled with heavy interference. Park is a prosecutor who comes to the scene of a crime that has been completely cleansed. The American government's CID has made its debut and authorized the resumption of local activities. The testimonies have been collected and the attorney, after reading the depositions, decides to summon one of the suspects indicated by the American police. This is Pearson, a Korean / American student with dual citizenship. The encounter with the boy, whose bloody shoes were found by the investigators, however, causes Park to demand the testimony of Alex, a friend of his own who lives in the United States and who was present in the evening in question. The two will end up accusing each other and the whole criminal proceeding will be based on the attribution of the responsibility of the murder to one of the two.
