PLOT

Greta (Keira Knightley) and Dan (Mark Ruffalo) meet one night in one of the many open bar and open-air bars that populate the East Village of Manhattan. Dan is on the verge of alcoholism, for sure he is sick when captured by the scratchy Greta voice that with her guitar is forced on stage by a longtime friend, Steve (James Corden), found in the Big Apple.

The two have a lot in common: winning instincts, emotionally destroyed lives, insecurities that have taken over, and love for good music. With drifting existence and a strong eclecticity, a few days after their encounter, they decide to embark on a project apparently destined for the disaster that will give them the burden, the inspiration, the desire to live.
